Eggs are quite a powerful food in many ways, especially for the brain. They contain cholesterol – what the outer lining of brain cells are made of. They also have choline, selenium, and vitamin B12, which are all essential for organ development.
It is important that you introduce eggs appropriately, though. Your little one should only eat egg yolks until they reach at least 12 months since egg whites are a higher allergen risk. The good news is that the yolks are the most flavorful part and are very easy to digest.
