With everything that can and will go wrong with potty training, it’s easy to let yourself get stressed out. You start to feel like this will last forever, that you will never get out of this phase of wet pants and restricted schedules.
Breathe. It’s not going to last forever. No matter how difficult or hopeless it may seem, your child won’t be going to high school in diapers.
Be patient with your little one. They don’t understand everything that is happening and need your help and support to succeed.
On the tough days, you may want to establish a reward system for yourself. You’re working hard too; you deserve something nice every once in a while.
