There is a common misconception that friends lose touch after one of them has a baby; this doesn’t have to be the case. It is important that you maintain those strong friendships to not only seek companionship and advice but also to keep your sanity.

Having other mom friends is especially beneficial. You can arrange play dates for both the moms and the babies to socialize. Every mom needs a break once in a while, and it’s great to have a network of moms to reach out to for companionship.
