Even though we often run to the internet first for a quick answer, you shouldn’t hesitate to contact your doctors with any questions or concerns you may have, no matter how trivial they may seem.

Pediatricians are used to receiving strange questions from parents; they may not even think them so strange anymore. A first baby is foreign territory, bringing with it mysteries and endless questions. Your little one will have many check-ups during the first few months of life after birth, so be sure to bring your notepad with questions as each visit.

Similarly, you shouldn’t be afraid to ask your OB/GYN any questions you may have about your healing and changing body. They can even direct you to a good lactation consultant or psychologist if needed.
